Sukhmani, 4 Weeks

Over the past 6 months or so I have been finding more and more newborns are coming later than the recommended 7-14 days.  I found myself asking why is it so crucial that they come so soon?  I have come to discover, that it's not as important as I used to think it was.  They don't necessarily sleep as good or 'squish' as well, but they are more alert, their eye lashes have come in and their cheeks are filled out.  They nurse better and parents know their baby's better by 3-4 weeks.  So I have learned that I love newborns anytime 7-31 days old lol.  This sweet heart was 4 weeks old at the time of her session and I absolutely loved photographing her.  Look at that hair!!! Look at those lashes! Isn't she gorgeous?
